Hello! My name is Denisa. I’m a family nurse practitioner currently working in primary care. Throughout my nursing career, I’ve had the privilege of serving in many areas- including psychiatry, surgical units, medical units, and labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.

Before becoming a nurse, I worked at St. James Child Developmental Center, where my love for supporting families and children began. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in many fields, but caring for mothers and their babies- both in utero and postpartum, has been the most meaningful and rewarding part of my journey.

In the hospital, I’ve supported mothers through both vaginal and cesarean births. As a mother myself, I’ve experienced the beauty and challenges of both hospital and home birth. These experiences have deepened my understanding, compassion, and commitment to helping families feel supported, confident, and cared for during this special season of life.

I am ACLS, BLS, and NRP certified.
